on february 16th the university of vic together with the technological and forestry centre of catalonia and the city council of centelles organized for the second time a conference regarding truffles, a subject on which it has been working since long ago at a scientific level so as to offer a solid base and deep knowledge of this fungus as for its farming, physical, nutritional and sensorial properties, along with its gastronomic applications.

within the framework of the conference carlos ibáñez, head of the analytical research department of lucta was invited to organize a workshop on the “identification of the descriptors odour typical of truffles aroma” in cooperation with doctor consol blanch of the environment and food research group (grmaia) of the university of vic.
